AI is widespread, but the value is not
59% of Danish companies with 10+ employees use AI. Only 37% see any EBIT impact. The difference lies in prioritisation, workflows and measurement.

The share of Danish companies with 10 or more employees using AI has almost quadrupled in three years. But only 11% use AI systematically in virtually all departments.
The impact is not keeping up
37% see any EBIT impact from AI, unchanged from 2025. Around 6% are high performers with significant impact.
What high performers do differently
Nearly three in four high performers have redesigned workflows, compared with one in four among the rest. An initiative only counts once a process has changed and the effect has been measured.
The money sits outside IT
3.3% of revenue now goes to AI, up from about 1.7%, and more than 80% of spend sits outside the IT budget. Without shared portfolio management, the money spreads.
